Convening virtually on the afternoon of Friday December 10th, the ReDesignAging conference unites Johns Hopkins clinicians, researchers, and graduate students with designers from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) to broaden the conversation on designing effective, inclusive, and sustainable interventions to meet the needs of our aging population.
Students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the community-at-large are invited to attend and participate in workshops and panels as we strengthen this community of practice.
With the support of MICA's Office of Open studies, there is no cost to attend and participate in this virtual conference.
While advances in medicine, technology, population health, and policy have improved quality of life for older adults, significant inequities persist in accessibility, inclusion, care and many other domains. We know what isn't working. So, what does work? Attendees will have this question (and more!) answered by an expert panel comprised of practitioners leveraging innovative interdisciplinary interventions that integrate public health, design, and placemaking. Audience Q&A to follow.
